Why I dropped out of UNILAG, grew to become bus conductor – Small Physician


Standard Nigerian singer, Temitope Adekunle, often called Small doctor has narrated how he rose to stardom.

Small physician talking on Rubbin Minds, a Channels TV present mentioned he dropped out of UNILAG as a result of he had no money and time to focus on his research as he was hustling to earn cash as a bus conductor.

“I had recorded my first single, I had been gaining airplay in my hood again then. Agege, Ogba, all these locations.

“I shuttled that place for like three to 4 years. I moved to Oshodi to Mushin beneath bridge. So it was from Oshodi to Mushin, Mushin to Oshodi I spent like six to seven years.

“I decided to go to school (UNILAG) during that time but had carryovers and could not concentrate due to lack of funds and time so I dropped out,” he disclosed.

He, nevertheless, added that he has plans on returning to school to finish his training very quickly.
