The Heathers reboot will arrive on the small display screen later than anticipated. On Wednesday, Paramount Community introduced that it could be pushing again the March 7 premiere date of the upcoming tv sequence out of respect for these affected by the Parkland, Florida, capturing.
“Paramount Network’s original series ‘Heathers’ is a satirical comedy that takes creative risks in dealing with many of society’s most challenging subjects ranging from personal identity to race and socioeconomic status to gun violence,” the community wrote in an electronic mail assertion to HuffPost. “While we stand firmly behind the show, in light of the recent tragic events in Florida and out of respect for the victims, their families, and loved ones, we feel the right thing to do is delay the premiere until later this year.”
This is not the primary time nationwide tragedy has affected tv. Following the Las Vegas capturing on October 1, 2017, an episode of American Horror Story: Cult was re-edited to have the violence occur off-screen.
