Rihanna slams Snapchat over advert selling home violence

Rihanna has slammed Snapchat over an advert which she claimed was shaming victims of home violence.

The advert requested Snapchat customers if they might wish to slap the singer or punch her former beau, Chris Brown.

The Advert made mild of home violence by referencing the 2009 incident when the singer’s former boyfriend Chris Brown violently assaulted her.

In her response, the singer accused the platform of bringing disgrace on home violence victims.

Rihanna wrote, “Now SNAPCHAT I do know you already know you ain’t my fav app on the market!

“You spent cash to animate one thing that will deliver intentional disgrace to [domestic violence] victims and made a joke of it!!!

Snapchat shares has reportedly dropped by practically 5% after Rihanna’s assertion.
