Olamide reacts as Nigerians assault him for selling ‘blood money,Yahoo’


Well-liked Nigerian singers, Olamide and Lil Kesh on Friday addressed report that their new track was selling ritual killings and ‘Yahoo’.

DAILY POST had reported that the musicians had come beneath assault as a result of their new track titled ‘Logo Benz’ had lyrics like “If money no enter I go do blood money” and Nigerians aren’t discovering it humorous in any respect.

The track which since its launch on Thursday stirred divergent reactions from Nigerians, particularly on social media.

Some Nigerians condemned the singers for such lyrics mentioned to be encouraging youths to have interaction in ritual killings and fraudulent acts for cash.

However reacting, Olamide on his Twitter account denied selling ‘blood cash and yahoo.

The singer mentioned the track was meant to create consciousness concerning the present state of youths in our society.

He tweeted, ”Brand Benz is for the third occasion to have a glimpse into the present state of youths in our society. (Runs ladies x runs boys)

“I’m not sure if there’s anything like 2 much awareness, but pardon me if there is. It’s all over the news, it’s always been in movies, don’t box musicians.”
