Australian Grand Prix: Sebastian Vettel in Components One season-opening victory as Lewis Hamilton finishes second


Sebastian Vettel has underlined Ferrari’s championship credentials after beating Lewis Hamilton to win the season-opening Australian Grand Prix.

Pole-sitter Hamilton led the opening part of the Albert Park race, however misplaced out to Vettel in the one spherical of pit stops and completed 10 seconds behind the four-time world champion.

It marked Vettel’s first victory because the 2015 Singapore Grand Prix with Valtteri Bottas, the Finnish driver who has changed world champion Nico Rosberg at Mercedes, finishing the rostrum.
