A 20-year-old sophomore at College of North Carolina at Charlotte named Polly Rogers died after falling from the window of a party bus on Could 1, The Washington Post reported. Zeta Tau Alpha — Polly’s sorority at UNC Charlotte — wrote a tribute on Facebook studying, “Polly was an emerging leader in her chapter, serving as a New Member assistant, the Signs Chair and on the Recruitment Committee.” Chapter President Alexis Marie Burns added, “Polly was the friendliest person you would ever meet in your life. She could always be found in the common areas of the house greeting sisters after their day at classes and making sure their day was going great.”

A GoFundMe page for Polly’s household was arrange final night time and has already closed. In lower than 24 hours, $13,513 had been raised; the aim was initially set at $7,000.
